  3. For people that want to change the desktop …
Para gente que quiera cambiar el desktop…
Pude cambiar todo bien en root/.xinitrc
I could change it the desktop awfall to .. xfce4
    exec dbus-lunch –exit-with-session startxfce4
    exec startfluxbox
    exec xfce4-session
    And with xfce4 is awesome

  4. I’ve tried to log into Linux for All 141120 live sessions many times now. I have tried many combinations including no name and no password, lfa/no password. lfa/root, root/root, Root/Root, LFA/LFA, lfa/lfa in so many ways I forget. None of
them would work. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong please?

    1. Just follow this instruction.

      Passwords and login
The password for root (superuser) is root. When you start up LFA from the live dvd/USB stick you will end up at Slim‘s login screen. Log in to Fluxbox as the ordinary user lfa with no password or as root with password root. When logged in as lfa you can use Sudo to become root. Command: sudo su. NOTE: On certain computers you may end up in console mode logged in as lfa. Then just run the command startx and you will enter Fluxbox.

  5. When I boot LFA from usb and use the first option
My Asus C7 boots ok but the touchpad does not work. A usb mouse works ok. I found help at “https://www.reddit.com/r/chrubuntu/comments/34d6qs/help_acer_c710_touchpad_support_with_ubuntu_1504/” commands to ftx Ubuntu 15.10 to use my Touchpad.

LFA does not connect to (or sense ) any wireless networks,

    1. Your touchpad: If it works in Ubuntu 15.10 it should also work in LFA.

Wireless: Are you sure you have configured Wicd correctly? Correct interfaces? I.e. wlan0, wlan1 or wlan2? Checked it with the command iwconfig?

  6. I am running LFA live as opposed to installed. I want to use refracta snapshot to create a new ISO with some modifications. The tool does not crash, but the new ISO is zero bytes. Any advice?

  7. I am trying to install LFA in VMWare. Your instructions say to chroot into /dev/sda1 in order to fix Grub. However chroot complains that sda1 is not a directory. I’m kind of stuck here. Don’t know what to do next. Thanks.

  8. In step #2 of “Special notes about using Refracta Installer on non-efi computers” I am getting tons of messages like this:

    Err:1 http://se.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic InRelease
    Temporary failure resolving ‘se.archive.ubuntu.com’

when trying to perform `apt update`.

Later, when I enter the command `grub-install /dev/sda` I get this error:

grub-install: error /usr/lib/grub/i386-pc/modinfo.sh doesn’t exist. Please specify –target or –directory.

I’m not sure if I should continue further or stop.
